A 30 pound 11 ounce channel catfish caught at Shag Rock!

Ron Henry of Clearlake Oaks with a 30 lb 11 oz'er caught at Shag Rock on November 12, 2006 at Shag Rock on a chartreuse mini-jig, six pound line, and a faithful old Mitchell 300 reel.

A whopping 32.540 lb'er, winner of the 2001 Catfish Derby taken on Saturday May 19th by Steven Johnson at the mouth of Cache Creek with shrimp as bait.

A 32.05 lb channel catfish caught on June 9, 2003 by Cecil Self of Lucerne. He caught it with a gob of nightcrawlers off his seawall using a light spinning outfit with an 8 lb test leader. He released the fish back into the lake to be caught again after the photo session. Way to go Cecil!!
