A great spot for every type of fishing that Clear Lake has to offer. Only minutes from Rattlesnake Island, one of the best bass and catfish spots on the lake. Work the shoreline for trophy largemouth bass or drift or anchor near the island for monster channel catfish. Most of the winning catfish in the annual Catfish Derby are taken in this area.
For a more relaxing day, just toss a line off the
shore from either the lakeside or in the sheltered boat channel where
you have a chance at catching a number of species including
largemouth bass, channel catfish, white catfish, brown
bullheads, black or white crappie, bluegill, and carp. |

ISLAND PARK gives a new meaning to so near yet so far. We are located on a small island in Clearlake. 2 and 1/2 hours from San Francisco, 2 hours from Sacramento. One quarter mile off hwy. 20 on Island Drive in Clearlake Oaks. Once you cross the bridge to our small island your troubles stay behind. Something to do each season: always fishing, spring bird watching, summer water sports, fall foliage, winter our most spectacular views and solitude. We not only accept well mannered pets but enjoy them. |
